PROTECTING KRUGER WILDLIFE TOGETHER

We rely on the generosity of our supporters to protect endangered mammals in South Africa. You might often see us reaching out for donations on social media and through various fundraising efforts. Today, we are filled with pride and gratitude as we share the tangible impact of your contributions. Thanks to your incredible support, our tracking project in the southern region of Kruger National Park has grown significantly. Collaboration with other donors has also been critical in successfully installing 64 Sigfox towers and ultimately, protecting precious endangered mammals.

THE POWER OF YOUR DONATIONS:
These towers have enabled us to monitor an array of animals, including; 200 rhinos, 50 wild dogs, 1 cheetah, 8 spotted hyenas, 10 zebras, 5 kudus, 1 nyala, 52 buffalo, and 220 rangers. Monitoring these endangered animals is essential for understanding their status, health, and behaviour. It helps us identify and mitigate threats, conserve critical habitats, inform policy decisions, and adapt our management strategies. In essence, it ensures that our conservation efforts are data-driven, targeted, and effective in preventing the extinction of these magnificent mammals.

OUR NEXT STEPS:
While our efforts in the southern region have been successful, there is still much more work to be done. We aim to expand our project to the northern region of Kruger National Park where both, animals and rangers urgently need our support. Covering the entire region is vital for our conservation efforts. Our current focus is on securing funding to extend our monitoring system to the northern region and to maintain and repair our existing infrastructure.

JOIN US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to making this project possible. Together, we have achieved great things, but there is still so much more we can do for the animals and rangers of Kruger National Park. Please consider making a donation today to help us continue our vital work. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
