For The Boucher Legacy, May is a busy and meaningful time. With the Art for Conservation Auction, Save the Rhino Day, and Endangered Species Day all taking place, it’s a month to reflect on the work being done to protect the animals that need us most.
The 4th Art For Conservation Auction was a huge success and would not have been possible without the incredible support of our partners, sponsors and attendees. Every contribution played a meaningful role in celebrating legacy, creativity and impact and we are deeply grateful to each organisation and individual who stood alongside us in making the auction such a incredible success.
Every 25 hours, we lose a rhino. Save the Rhino Day gave us a chance to come together around that reality. If you’d like to be part of it, consider partnering with organisations like The Boucher Legacy that are working on the ground to protect rhinos for future generations.
Your support can be shown on Endangered Species Day too. Pangolins continue to be heavily trafficked towards extinction, while African wild dog populations remain critically low, with only an estimated 1,400 males left in the wild. The Boucher Legacy is doing on-the-ground conservation through pangolin rehabilitation and African wild dog collaring. Contributions to sustain and expand this work are always welcome. You can help here.
From the Art for Conservation Auction to our daily work, everything we do is driven by one goal: protecting wildlife that can’t speak for itself. Thank you for being part of the journey. Here’s to more months like this, where art, advocacy and action come together for real conservation impact.
