When drafting your will or adding a codicil, we recommend the following wording:
“I (name) bequeath (the residue of my estate, or percentage of my estate, or a certain amount, etc.) to The Boucher Legacy, the conservation organisation, non-profit company with registration no NPC 2012/180583/08, which has as its registered office, PO Box 15815, Vlaeberg, 8018, Cape Town, Western Cape, to be used at the sole discretion of the Boucher Legacy, in terms of its constitution and for the conservation work of the organisation in South Africa.”
NB: Bequests to the Boucher Legacy are exempt from estate duty
